Alright...

Alright I'll admit it. I haven't been blogging as much as I'd like to. I thought after the tournament I'd be back, but as you can see, it just didn't happen. So right now, I'll pinkie-promise that I'll try to make (at the bare minimum) one post a week. I want to blog more, it's true, but if I can find the time I will. Don't worry...I'm still here and I am going to propose a new format for this blog. Each month there will be a new sport that I find cool and intresting stuff to share with you guys. At the end of each month I will take 32 of the sports coolest jerseys and (if possible hats) and put them into a tournament. Soccer is already done, but I will have a new competition for them when their month comes. After all the sports are done, the top 6 or so from each sport will compette for the best jersey/ hat of the year.

Here is the list of the months and sports:
September: Baseball
October: Football
November: Hockey
December: Basketball
January: Soccer

I know there are only 5 sports that I chose but I think they are the only ones that have jerseys and hats so if there is another sport that I missed post a comment and I'll look into it.

On a side note, the blue Arsenal jersey I showed, and hated, well let's just say I had a change of heart and I love it now, and it's in my closet. It's actually really cool. But I'll see you guys Monday.

This Is Almost It

This is  almost it for the soccer ideas, but there is one more post for soccer...until awhile anyway, so today were showing the final, we will not be showing the winner until Friday, which is tomorrow. So are we ready? Is that a yes? Let's get down to business.

IT'S THE FINAL
1B MANCHESTER UNITED (NEW) (A) vs. 3C ARSENAL (NEW) (H)

This is it, it may not be the hardest choice, but it is still a challenging decision. They both go back to an earlier time period, where soccer was a different game, ad jerseys didn't have sponsors. First, we'll explain the Arsenal. The Arsenal jersey dates back to 125 years age, where "Foward" was their motto, which was incorperated nicely, in the logo, which looks like this:
As an Arsenal fan, I can proudly say the I like this logo and it's pretty cool. It has the orignal year, when Arsenal was founded, as the Royal Arsenal. It logo is basically red and silver, which looks very nice, but there is one small problem with the overal idea, what happens after New Year's, 2012, they still will be wearing them, not so sm thart, but I still like it. Next, is Manchester United. Man U is my second favorite EPL team behind, the Arsenal that is. So the black and blue isn't as storied as their traditional green and yellow, which can be seen on some scarves by the hard core fans, but the stripes look like a sideways Inter jersey, but i do still like it, the gold patches will look nice on it, so will 125 beat 19? We find out tomorrow.

Final 4

The Final 4 is here...FINALLY it took so long to get here, and it will not be disappointing, you can say it's the opposite of my spelling, but anyway here we go...sorry, my computer got a virus, and I couldn't access the internet so I'll post this one and the next one

1A Club America (T) loses to 1B Manchester United (NEW) (A)

3C Arsenal (NEW) (H) def 6D Celtic (A)

That's it for today, so yeah we now have 2, the two will fight for top prize...it's a secret.

On the side...

On the side we have new pictures of the NEW Arsenal away kit by Nike, before I say anything negative, i do like the colors, that's about it though. You can decide for yourself:

I don't like the triange running across the side of the jersey, like it looks awful, and the opposite sleeve the same color? Jeeze Nike, the Arsenal don't wanna look like morons, but with the new kit...they do. I may be wrong with this, because most of the fans love it, but it sucks. I don't like it, but it doesn't mean you have too. This is TOWO signing off

I'm Back...for awhile anyway

Well were back, since our last post way back in April. We took a break to finish our lives...up to this point, no, no one died. But over the next couple days we will finish up soccer (for a couple months) until the start of the EPL season. To conclude soccer (yeah I know the 3 posts) we have constructed a tournement of the Best 64 jerseys (USA, Mexico, England, and other National teams) in soccer. Day by day leading up to the Champion on Friday, so lets get started.
This tournement has consisted of 64 teams, the 64 teams were put in to 4 groups: A, B, C, D. The letters mean nothing, as they are used for identification. We have ranked all 64 jerseys and we came up with seeds. It's just like the NCAA's March Madness. This tournement is opinion-based so don't get mad at us if the jersey you love or just bought isn't on the list or gets eliminated. So print out a bracket an follow along.

In Addition...

In addition to the first post about the Union third, I found a new picture with their sponsor "BIMBO". It's always classic when they have it plastered across the front, like Club America. Well here it is

I actually like this better than the plain. It makes the simple look become more...better. Overall it looks great. From an A- to an A+. Thank you BIMBO and Adidas for a snazy look. The best in the MLS.

The Best Jerseys in the MLS

Continuing the Soccer theme, we at TOWO, have ranked the best and worst jerseys of the 2011 MLS season. We've ranked the jerseys on: Color, Logo, Sponsor (how it looks), piping, and overall effect. All 18 have their spot on the list. Exciting.

18. Chicago Fire

It's not really my favorite...at all. I like the FIRE across the home its classic, but if you're doing it on one do it on the other, I mean really.

17. Sporting Kansas City
It's actually TOO simple. I think it's better than the fire only because they don't have one thing written across the chest. As I've said before I don't realy like it

16.New England Revolution
This is just ugly. I don't like it. It's not appealing, and when you plaster your team name across the front...IT'S NOT 2000 and the MLS is forming it's 2011! GET A SPONSOR!

15. Toronto FC

Although these look ok, I dont like the fact that they haven't changed in 3 years and on top of that they're ugly, it's okay for a team like he Union not to change because the go back into history, these dont. Not great.
14. San Jose Earthquakes
These, like the Revolution aren't appealing, I like the home one but the away is a killer. It's bad

13. Colorado Rapids

What happened to the MLS Champs? I liked what they wore. It's missing the light blue and the collar. This is a downgrade from last season

12. DC United

These are the same from last year with one new addition, a third. The red third is nicer, if they made it their home I would'nt mind.

11. Real Salt Lake
These arn't bad. The away, like San Jose is a killer. They could at least make the sleeves the same.

10. Houston Dynamo
Although I'm missing the away, it looks the same...only in white. It's okay. Not as good as most

9. FC Dallas
These are actually pretty nice, I like the stripes and FC Dallas actually looks good on these jerseys compaired to the revolution...still it's not 2000.

8. Portland Timbers
These are pretty good, I like the two-tone colors and the sleeves class it up. I like these. Pretty good Adidas

7. LA Galaxy
The white one brings down the blue. I really like the blue, I think it stands out compaired to some teams with just navy or darker.

6. Vancouver Whitecaps
5. New York Redbull
Altough the away is not the new away jersey, it still is nice. I like the Bulls across the front and I think that the red andwhite collars make it stand out

4. Columbus Crew

The away jersey makes up for the home. They should make the away the home of modify the home to have black stripes and the same type sleeve. Its looks pretty good.
3. Chivas USA
These jerseys look really good. I like the stripes on the away, the away his my favorite jersey but the home is just eh.

2. Philadelphia Union
I know I'm missing the alternate (see below) but these have history to them and I really like them. This combo is one of my favorites in all of soccer.

1. Seattle Sounders

Yes, this may come as a shock to most of you but these are the best in the MLS. I know most people hate the siver stripes but I think they're cool. I'm missing their electricity jersey which adds so much.
